What is the best type of pool construction?
There are three types of pool construction, Concrete Shell, Fibreglass and Vinyl Liner.
Concrete Shell - adaptable to any shape, sprayed concrete over steel reinforcing has total design flexibility. In ground, above ground, add a spa or water feature. This is the method Landsmiths recommends as this is a strong construction method that can give you an individual pool tailored to your requirements.
Fibreglass - Orthothalic and NeoPentolGLyol resins and fibreglass strands are sprayed on to a preformed mould. This is usually done in the factory but can be done on site. This type of pool falls into the mid price range. Some free form options are available.
